Thanksgiving in Hill Country

Big family? Short on space indoors? We’ve got you covered on how to host a beautiful Thanksgiving feast while enjoying the outdoors, weather permitting.

First you must set the scene.

A beautiful table is just as important as the presentation of a dish.

We rented the tables and benches from Whim Hospitality, right here in Dripping.

Make a statement!

For a show-stopping table setting that honors tradition, fill the center of your table with a colorful display of pumpkins, gourds, nuts, fruits, veggies and seasonal blooms.

Always have a variety of meats. For this feast we went with a honey baked ham, a turkey of course, and the amazing pork chops that we cooked on open fire.

Mix it up.

You don’t have to use your fine china to set up a gorgeous table. Mix and match for an easier clean up.

3 things most people forget to purchase for Thanksgiving.

  • Great for appetizers and dessert. A must on your shopping list.

  • Your stuffing will not be the same without it.

  • Come on now. You know better. Did you really do your best if you didn’t have a sweet potato casserole at the table?

Follow along.

Stick to your theme color.
